Pomp at the South Sudan Graduation Ceremony-30th March, 2019
For South Sudanese, there was another graduation ceremony a day after the major one for CUU.
This graduation event was held at Hotel Africana and brought nearly all the 215 graduands from South Sudan together.
The event was organised by CUU South Sudan Students' Association in consultation with South Sudan Embassy in Uganda under auspices from the Under Secretary for Humanitarian Affairs in the Republic of South Sudan who was one of the graduands.
The function acted as an avenue to further reconciliation mainly among the Nuer and the Dinka groups in Uganda, hence the dress code. The event was attended by 3 Ministers from S. Sudan, Generals and top Civil Servants with the Ambassador as Guest of Honour and the Vice Chancellor as Chief Guest.
